The heritage is a story to be discovered step by step. You need the patience to read until the end, the strength to get over unpleasant paragraphes, the determination to get through it page after page and the openness to receive the unexpected.
Our work is focused on the integration of the cultural heritage in the urban development process.
We pay particular attention to the social aspects involved and the multidisciplinary approach in the sustainable evolution of urban and rural communities.
How?
Working with heritage will always be a personal matter.
What does heritage change
In 2016, Montreal hosted the 3d Biennial Conference of the ASSOCIATION OF CRITICAL HERITAGE STUDIES. The Rhabillage Association participated, among other more than 600 speakers, with a presentation of the RePAD project.
Patrimoine à la folie
Collaboration with the FRENCH INSTITUTE IN BUCHAREST, in 2014 and 2015, for training non-architectural students on identifying and taking pictures of architectural heritage buildings in the Romanian capital.
Urban Fest
Urban Fest was organised in 2015 in Bucharest by the European Commission representation in Romania. Rhabillage joined the team by participating with a series of interactive installations and workshops for kids.
Site Under Construction
In 2014, we provided documentation and visual support related to the Malaxa industrial heritage site in Bucharest for the project that represented Romania at the 14th Architecture Venice Biennale.
